Garlicky Seared Salmon

A simple and quick way to spice up your salmon with an irresistible garlic flavour



Methods

Rinse fillets and pat dry with paper towels. Season to taste with salt and pepper; set aside.

In a small bowl combine butter, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Spread evenly on top of each fillet.

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place fillets skin side down in skillet; cook 4 minutes per side or until crisp and golden. Sprinkle with thyme, and serve.

  • 4 ( 5 oz) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 4 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
