Many users
will already have Rapids in
their accounts from the
start as both the remaining
days in existing Premium
accounts and unused traffic
share will be converted
automatically into Rapids.
For each remaining day, the
user will be credited with
20 Rapids. For example, if
there are 10 days left in a
Premium account, the user
will receive 200 Rapids.
Each GB of traffic share
will be converted into 5
Rapids.
Any accumulated Free- and
Premium-RapidPoints can also
be converted into Rapids
until July 6, 2010.
Altogether, 5,000
Free-RapidPoints and 5,000
Premium-RapidPoints equate
to 600 Rapids; 50,000
Free-RapidPoints and 50,000
Premium-RapidPoints will
give 6,000 Rapids.
A maximum of 50,000 Rapids
can be obtained by
converting existing
RapidPoints, traffic share
or the remaining time on a
Premium account.
Will there be any daily
limit?
It is up to
your decision how much of
the 30GB you want to use a
day.
Can i
collect my Traffic from one
month to another?
There
is no limit to how much
Traffic you can collect. The
Traffic stays valid even if
you don't extend RapidPro.
You can use the remaining
Traffic again, when you
renew RapidPro. The old and
the new Traffic are then
added to your balance.
What is actually changing:
product model?
These
modifications will not
change anything for Free
Users. Owners of previous
Collector's accounts will
receive free Premium
accounts, enabling them to
manage their uploaded files
in the Premium Zone.
Downloading and storing are
just the same as for the
previous Collector's
account.
Users who have Rapids can
choose from five types of
fee-paying package. What is
special about these packages
is that every user can turn
the features off and on to
suit their needs from day to
day. In this way, we hope to
offer our customers an even
better service and, above
all, much more flexibility
than before.
How many times can I
up/downgrade? \\
discontinued
If you are currently using
the RapidSmall package and
you require more traffic,
you will automatically be
upgraded to the next higher
package, to ensure that all
your downloads will complete
correctly.
A downgrade can be made
during the day, but will not
be active until 24:00 CET.
This applies to all
downgrades made.
If I have RapidSmall today,
what will happen with my
Premium Account the
following day? \\
discontinued
As soon as you have a
package set, this package
will continue until a
up/downgrade is made. This
means that on the following
day, the RapidSmall package
will still be active and the
Rapids will be deducted.
Can I accumulate Traffic
which was left over from the
day before? \\
discontinued
User cannot accumulate their
left over Traffic.
Can I stop Rapids being
deducted from my account?
\\ discontinued
Unfortunately this is not
possible, was the account,
active you will
automatically receive
RapidSmall package. Each day
we will deduct 4 Rapids.
If I get upgraded today,
will I automatically be
downgraded the following
day? \\ discontinued
You will not be
automatically be downgraded,
this has to be set by the
user. If no changes are
made, the user will remain
using the RapidBig.
What happens with the
storage I used, when it
exceed the allowed amount
for the Rapids package I am
currently using?
Your files will be stored in
our system, unless they have
been inactive for more than
60 days.
What does Verification mean?
With the RapidBig package
you have the option to
verify your account. This
way you receive the full
control over your files
stored on the RapidShare
servers. Through the
verification of your
account, files are protected
from accidental deletion by
our Abuse team. With the
verification you confirm
that you are permitted by
the license holder to use
the stored files as you
intend.
How do I verify my Premium
Account?
The Premium Account
verification process will be
revealed in July.
What does License Manager /
License Manager+ mean?
With the Licensemanager and
the Licensemanager+ you have
the possibility to use
RapidShare.com to sell your
own products (music,
programs...). A verification
of the account is required
in order to take advantage
of these features. We will
be introducing these
features as from July, 2010.
What happens with the
account, when all of my
Rapids have been used?
Since we do not delete
Premium Accounts anymore,
the account will stay in its
old form until a further
Rapids package has been
purchased. Please take note
of the 60 day inactive
regulation which is applied
to files stored in your
account.
Where can I adjust my
package?
When logged into you Premium
Zone simply click on
“Settings” to make the
required changes.
